Delete your DoIt account

You can delete your DoIt account, and everything in it, at any time. DoIt is made by Sindhu.

In the app

1. Open DoIt and sign in.
2. Go to Profile and choose Delete my account.
3. Read what will be deleted, tick the box, and choose Proceed.
4. Type DELETE and choose Wipe my data. You're signed out, and your account and data are deleted within 24 hours.

Without the app

If you can't use the app (for example, you've uninstalled it), email us from the address you use for DoIt:

Email support@maado.app

We confirm by replying to that address, so nobody can delete an account that isn't theirs. Then your account and data are deleted within 7 days, and we let you know when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your account: name, email address and sign-in
• Goals and their KPIs
• Tasks and sub-tasks, with their reminders and places
• Notes and attachments, including notes other people added to your tasks
• Categories, teams and the people you invited
• Pinned items, shared templates, ratings and settings

Tasks and goals you shared also disappear for the people you shared them with. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

What is kept

• Purchase records that we must keep for accounting. They're kept without anything that identifies you.
• Overall statistics, such as the number of tasks completed across all users. They contain nothing about you.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there to stop being charged: on iPhone in Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions; on Android in Google Play ▸ Profile ▸ Payments & subscriptions ▸ Subscriptions.
